ABOUT THE BIG DAY
This wedding will be a celebration of Chinese, Italian, and Jewish culture with a lot of line dancing mixed in for good measure. We hope you will enjoy this eclectic mix and have a great time!

CHRISSIE'S ATTENDANTS

Karin Turick, Maid Of Honor
Karin and I met in 3rd grade on the softball field. I remember her being the tall, curly hair girl who could hit far! We crossed paths again in high school and have been best friends ever since. We've gone through so much together...little league softball, band, Phantom of the Opera, and moving to the MIDWEST! She's played hockey, ran the NYC marathon, and now currently resides in Kansas City with her husband Brian who she married last July. She probably had one of the hardest jobs around — a pre-k school teacher!!! She also just adopted a cute puppy called Kasey (a beagle mix) very cute!! I'm so excited to have her stand by my side on my wedding day!!

Sarah Pariso, Bridesmaid
Although I've only known Sarah, Jason's sister, for a short while, she is one of the most creative, intelligent, and stylish person I know. She lives in San Francisco and has a really cool job where she travels all of the world. Interesting fact - she also went to a really great photography school and makes exquisite jewelry! I am so looking forward to having a sister in the family!

Bridget Tan, Bridesmaid
I remember meeting Bridget for the first time in Accounting class at Georgetown University freshman year. I sat next to her, not only because she seemed nice, but because she was Chinese!! We were roommates for two years and she's put up with me sleeping through my alarm to my snoring and has still remained my friend! She has an adorable dog called Emily who is a French bulldog. FYI, Emily wore a bridal dress for Bridget's wedding. Bridget never cooked a lick in college, but now she's quite a good chef!

Mary (Jaya) Jacob, Bridesmaid
Jason likes to refer to Jaya as “a bundle of fun” and it’s true. We shared much laughter at Georgetown (where she convinced me to dance in an all Indian performance) and in Hong Kong (where we met Boyz II Men). Knowing Jaya, has brought much laughter and fun into my life! Jaya is also incredibly smart (she's studying law at UVA and is in her last year and will be working for a very prestigious law firm in NY). Jaya also said she might perform some bungra (Indian) dancing at the reception!!!

Elaine Yang, Bridesmaid
I met Elaine on Love Boat (which is summer camp for Chinese teens from 18-24 in Taiwan... and it wasn’t on a boat). Most parents expected their kids to meet other Chinese kids and fall in love and get married... obviously that didn't work out for me) We met about 9 years ago and have stayed friends ever since. Elaine got married to Charlie who also went on the Love Boat (but they knew each other before, so that doesn't count!) Elaine is a pharmacist and is a knitting machine. She also believes that I'm a jinx and avoids my phone calls when UNC is playing anyone.

Chia-hui Wen, Bridesmaid
I met Chia-hui on Love Boat too. She is actually going to marry someone who is friends with Elaine... so it's kind of like a distant Love Boat connection! Chia-hui lives in San Francisco and is a pharmacist as well. She is also an awesome snowboarder and can't wait to race her down the hill one day! She doesn't think I'm a jinx!

Leanna Elia, Bridesmaid
Leanna is Jason's niece and is incredibly smart, sweet, and pretty. She's a freshman in high school now and I know she'll go far in life. I'm so excited that she's going to be a part of this special day.

JASON'S ATTENDENTS

Doug Williams, Best Man
I met Doug (aka Dougie Fresh) as a freshman at good old Williamsville North High School. We became fast friends playing football and skipping class together. Our senior year Doug was single-handedly responsible for the administration's change in policy for absences due to his record 60 missed days. These days Doug is an aspiring entrepreneur living and working in Las Vegas. He's one of my closest friends and has been there through thick and thin.

Jon Pariso, Groomsman
Jon got all of the humor in the family and no small portion of the brains. He's my little bro, but I'm always learning something from him. I'm lucky to have a brother like him to keep me on my toes. Love ya bro.

Fred Krieger, Groomsman
Fred's my foster big brother and has been an inspiration to the whole family. He recently put himself through law school on the weekends while working in sales at an engineering firm and helping take care of his two kids. He's quite a guy and someone I look up to.

Eddie Chen, Groomsman
Eddie is Chrissie's big brother and we hit it off the first time we met. He kept me company when we visited China while the ladies were doing wedding things. We enjoyed great food, Chinese foot massages (although my large American feet scared them), and checked out cool electronics. I'm glad he's going to be part of the family.

Charlie Perer, Groomsman
Charlie is one of my closest friends. We forged our bond in the fires of investment banking. Our cubes actually faced each other so I had to choose between becoming his friend or figuring out where to hide the body. Luckily for both of us I chose the former. Charlie's been there through all of the craziness of the past few years and his claim to fame is that he was the first one at the office to figure out that Chrissie and I were secretly dating. I'm glad I have Charlie in my corner.

Thomas Scriven, Groomsman
Scriven has been one of my closest friends since college and is always the one with some fantastic idea to get us in trouble. Everything from a trip to the Greek Isles to escapes in New York City. He keeps my life interesting and never gives up on me. Thanks for being there for me my friend.

Kevin Zeppernick, Groomsman
Zep is the little devil that sits on my shoulder. There are a few misdemeanors on my permanent record that can be directly attributed to his influence. Thankfully those are still under seal by the judge. Zep and I have been friends since our days as undergrads and co-founded Katapultz with in Austin. Although he's moved on to bigger and better I'm sure we'll end up combining forces again in the future.

Anthony Pariso, Ring Bearer
Anthony is my brother Dave's son and one of my favorite nephews. He's a great kid, an excellent student, and a budding baseball player. Watch out ladies, he's a heart breaker in the making. I only wish I could spend more time with him.
